Got my S3 :)

So I picked up my S3 yesterday at Costco . I feel like i kinda got hustled though. They had the phone for $209 after mail in rebate. The actual cost of the phone was $249 and then it was $260 something with tax. Now they waived the activation fee of $35 and gave me a $40 mail in rebate. They said they were charging me tax based on the subsidized price, not the full retail price. I dont understand how the phone is $209 at Costco while other places (like Verizon) have it for $199 or even online for $150. Did i pay too much?

I believe the 32 GB version is $249 (subsidized, 2 year contract). Even if you bought a 16 GB at that price, after the mail-in rebate and waived activation fee you still come out on top I believe...so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I paid full retail for mine...just imagine how I feel.

I want to get the Spigen SGP Ultra Thin Air case for my blue S3 but i cant figure out if the Champagne color will ok or should i just stick with Silver. Any thoughts??

Well at least you did not have to pay the Verizon $35 activation fee..I tried to get them to waive fee through the customer service board but they won't due to subsidizing of phone..even after I have been a on time faithful customer hoping on 12 years..oh well..

yeah that was good, i was glad about that . I ended up ordering the Diztronic Matte Dark Blue case off of Amazon for 8 bucks. All the reviews are great so hopefully the case will be fine .
