Seems the consensus tempered glass protector is the white stone dome which is a whopping $50.

I'm paying $12/month for premium care and I'm at a point where I do not think I should double on the cost of a screen protector. What do you guys think?

depends on the deductible. with asurion we pay 200$ for the note 9 I'm sure it's going up on the 10

Deductible is $99.

I had it on my Note 8 for one year and didn't have to use it fortunately/unfortunately

This is the reason why I'm not getting a glass protector. I have a SquareTrade plan with a $99 deductible. I'd rather get a brand new phone for $99 instead of screen protection for $60.

yea when you look at it that way it doesn't make sense to get a screen protector

I'm in Australia. My phone/camera/laptop whatever is covered by my home & contents insurance by adding "accidental damage" - that's in the home or anywhere else outside of the home. That's only a couple of dollars extra per month.
