Yeah it's because the Nexus' animation is way longer than the Droids. So I'm looking in to taking off some of the animation.

This is very easy to do, but you do need root access. Currently rocking this myself. Patiently waiting on the file permissions to be worked out on 2.1 and then it's time to try the port.

There is no sound to the boot process.
