Got the root bug again

Wanting to root my Samsung Galaxy s5. It is a SM-G900v on the VZW network.

1. What method should I use to root it?
2. What OS works the best on this phone?
3. It the root method easy to un-root the phone?

i would choose cyanogenmod because it uses lesser ram than the stock rom and if u want to root your phone properly then first install custom recovery and try installing the root using the custom recovery . try browsing youtube for tutorials

If your Verizon minority carrier variant is on Marshmallow, Android 6.0.1, it is unrootable. See #1.6 of 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide. For the G900V on Lollipop, see NEW Verizon S5 Root for latest firmwares OE1, OG5, OK3, PB1. You cannot downgrade from Marshmallow to Lollipop.

You CAN downgrade from MM to LP, by flashing the full PB1 firmware and then root it.
