Got the security update, now if they could fix android auto

I hear you! Actually with the new security update, I don't have the new updated version of Google Assistant which displays on the bottom center of the infotainment screen anymore. I have the older version which is a little less accurate. Does anyone know how to get the newest version of Google Assistant for Android Auto back at all? I appreciate it! I've tried to force down grade app versions reboot the car reboot the phone etc to no avail :-(
