Got word about the black Honor 8

B&H Photo is still showing Sept 10 as a possible arrival date, but we will see which one comes first.

Edit: As of 9/9, B&H removed that date and now there is no date.

Ok, I'm pissed now. Huawei/Honor said Sept 13, now I get an email from Amazon saying OCTOBER 12th to NOVEMBER 10th...WTF...

I could see about switching to the white one, but I shouldn't have to settle for a color I didn't originally want when I preordered. Really has me about to look into something else. This poor preparation when they had two weeks of preorders doesn't give me a good feeling.

Not sure, but if they had been upfront about black being released later, I might have considered ordering white.

I always take future availability as estimated... But if the date slipped this much then they should explain why...like perhaps it was a problem with a supplier

Newegg is supposed to be first to ship tomorrow (their website reflects this). I'm not sure why amazon is saying 1-3 months, could be a mistake on their end. But if Honor says Amazon will start shipping Tuesday, maybe we should wait until Tuesday before grabbing the pitch forks.
