Got word about the black Honor 8

Newegg is supposed to be first to ship tomorrow (their website reflects this). I'm not sure why amazon is saying 1-3 months, could be a mistake on their end. But if Honor says Amazon will start shipping Tuesday, maybe we should wait until Tuesday before grabbing the pitch forks.

That gives me some hope about my order on Amazon. I went with Amazon due to having a decent amount of trade-in credit with them, even though the other retailers had more accessories included.

They were pretty strict on mint condition. Has to be absolutely flawless. I sold a phone that I got directly from Verizon and they lowered the rating to "good".

In my experience, they have been. To be fair to them, if it's a device that you've used for more than a couple of weeks it's likely going to qualify as "Good" condition due to wear and tear. They do give the option to accept a lower offer if you'd like during the set up process. I have had one device rejected (an original MS Band) due to it wouldn't power on, but that was partly my fault for not charging it prior to sending it. It also was being a pain and wouldn't power off during set up.

For perspective, I got $44 for an LG G watch (Square one) when I had paid $60 for it.

My sentiments exactly. If you aren't using it, might as well get rid of it. The amazon trade in process is pretty painless, and you cash choose to accept a lower valuation or have it sent back to you.

Me too! So excited. Have you gotten your shipping info yet? I ordered early yesterday with 2 day shipping (overnight wasn't available) and it hasn't gone out yet. The case and glass protectors I ordered went out this morning (my free case already arrived today... go figure). Amazon can be so wasteful with their shipping
