GPS/location persistent icon

I have this icon persistently showing as if it is looking for location even though i am under open sky. It goes away only after a reboot and comes back randomly. Dont really know what app is dying to get the location.

You can take a look at "Security & location" in Settings to see what apps are requesting location. Try revoking location permissions from these (one at a time, of course) to see if you can determine the culprit.

I could also see this happening by something less obvious like a widget or even the default Pixel Launcher, the latter which I imagine would need location info to make the At-a-glance widget work properly.

Thanks, that helped... Took away the location rights from my banking app.
