I'm trying to use the GPS but when I choose the city that I want to go, he gets the screen stating the following message:

Receiving direction information

And it did not go out, it takes much the same the first time will use or have something wrong?

thank you

Why don't you try using Google maps and see if it works. Let me know.

Also, are you sure you turned GPS on, on your phone? settings> location and security> >Use wireless networks (checked) and Use GPS satellites (checked)

Yes, it's all marked. With the internet works normally.

Its use in offline mode? No need to connect to the internet to use GPS?

Yes, the app you use for navigation uses the Internet so, if you have data off, GPS won't work. <edit> Well, GPS works, but you can't do anything with it. In order to navigate, google maps needs to stream the location data through the map.

You can navigate without using data if you download a cached copy of google maps. Run the map. Press on settings. Select Labs. Press on "Pre-cache map area" to enable it and then just follow the instructions there to use it for navigation. Google provides this for when people are in an area that can't get data. Hope this helps.:-)
