Grabbing ringtones and notifications before leaving...

My two years with the DInc will be up shortly and I would like to take the HTC sounds with me to whichever phone I decide on next. What is the best way to accomplish this?

Go into you phones storage and they're probably under media, notifications, ringtones. You should be able to see the folders. Drag the folders to your computer. When you get your new phone drag them from the computer to the phones media section and either create the new folders or stick them in with the included ones.

Nope. Not there. These aren't files so much as part of HTC's ROM.

For people trying to track down their favorite notification sounds, I recommend an app called Zedge. Searching can return lots of dissimilar results, but I found if you search with the correct HTC name (in my case, Modern for email; Color for texts), you can find what you're looking for.
