Great battery life!

I have had several phones in the past. Some had good battery life, others didn't.

My last phone was a BlackBerry Q10 (yes, you read it correctly). This was a great phone with great battery life until I dropped it lol. So I decided to buy this Moto E 2nd gen. And battery life on this phone is even better! I did not expect that..

I am a medium user. Few times a day a short game, several message conversations and maybe a phone call. Location, WiFi and mobile data is always on as is automatic brightness. I unplugged my device around 8:15 this morning and still have some 80% left around 13:32! This is great!! Never had that on a phone before and I thank Motorola for that lol.

All together a nice phone and I like it very much. Still waiting on Android 5.1 though...

Just make sure you usually charge it when it drops to around 40%-50% if you want it to last as long as possible. Draining the last bit of power out of a lithium battery every charge cycle (from some of the posts here, you'd think there was a prize for the most power drain) can kill a battery in a few months.

I have read some things about that. But it is no problem for me. I charge my phone every night when I go to sleep. And at that time my battery is at 30-50%
