Great phone but I truly miss the 90hz refresh rate

It's kinda the arugment that people use to make about the iPhone screens. They're ppi was minimal at best but no one cared because you couldn't get an iPhone with a high resolution. Same way I feel about my note 10+. I'm completely fine with the screen refresh rate and have not wished it would be faster.

The fingerprint scanner could read faster on the note 10 if it wasn't so secure. Reading ultra Sonic takes a little longer but I'd say the trade off is worth it to be more secure and discreet (being able to unlock it with no light present.)
Same here. I really just miss the faster fingerprint scanner and the volume rocker.

Truth, in this case, is an impression, not an absolute.

I have heard a few comment that they wanted it, but it isn't the main complaint about the Note 10. It is all spec chasing. Gotta have the greatest. Gotta have the most. Even when you don't really need it.

I couldn't care less about the refresh rate on the screen. I did just hear that 240hz refresh rate is coming... so your 60, 90 and 120 must suddenly be a piece of junk... right?

That is the stupidest comment on this topic yet. If you don't care about It then great, not everybody does. But for those of us who have experienced it and seen the difference it does add extra smoothness. It's just a fact.

I can't miss what I've not experienced I suppose. ;)

For me I've not had any issues with my Samsung Note phones and haven't even thought about refresh rates until reading this thread !

Exactly. Was never in my decision making process. Hell my iPad pro has 120 hz and I've never noticed a difference between that and my tab s4 60 hz.

In one of the tech journals I read that OLED with 90hz refresh rate has issue reaching current (60hz) peak brightness in direct sunlight and so Samsung don't want to jump unless it is fixed. I would rather wait for it to be fixed and I am good my note 10+ and it's amazing brightness in direct sunlight.
Samsung (or any other company) gotta maintain some standards it is maintaining with its previous phones. Isn't it?

They can leave a option like 1+7 pro , choose 90hz or 60hz ?

That's what happened to me , didn't know what I was missing until I experience it ..its not earth shattering but you can appreciate it .

Old saying better to have it not need it than to need it and not have it.

Maybe thats the reason battery life on the Pro is so poor compared to the Note 10+. Actually its not even good as the regular Note 10.
