Great video to "show off" your screen and speakers...

Is it just me or do these videos look just ok at best? They are not near as clear and crisp as my old HTC EVO 4G LTE? I have made sure that I have them playing in HD mode and they are not what I expected. I have tried several other videos with the same results? The audio blows away my old 4G LTE but I am not impressed with the video quality. I hope I am doing something wrong and this can be corrected. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

I gotta agree, while the screen is nice, a lot of people talk about it being the best they have ever seen and iam not seeing that all, My friend has an old htc one x and the screen is equally as nice imo!! I also miss the vibrancy of my s3 screen :( Over all i do love this phone though, just dont see the big deal about the screen

Edit : Ok i just watched the original op's video on the phone in 1080p and wow that looked fantastic, No idea why i never felt that way before (maybe i was watching crap vids) I take back what i said above ha

Must be just you. Just did a head-to-head with an iPhone 5 and it blew it out of the water.

Haha... Thanks for updating your post. I was confused with your original statement. I saw the video on my 4S first, and then on the HTC One, and the two phones weren't even close. The One looked absolutely gorgeous, and the stereo speakers just added to the experience.

*UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL POST*
I watched this video again several times this past weekend from my house and it was spectacular. I started to wonder why it looked better from my house? The only difference was that at home I was connected using WI-FI. When I watched the first time I was using a 3G signal. I confirmed this again this morning by watching on 3G service and it was once again very sub-par. Can I only get good video quality if I am using a WI-FI connection? I do not remember this being the case on my old HTC 4G LTE.
I remember the video lagging while on 3G but did not notice any quality issues. What am I missing here?

I'm not sure about the One, but with my iPhone 4S on 3G/4G, the video quality is significantly lower than when viewed on WiFi. I'm guessing it'll be the same with the One.

It's probably a feature to prevent you from going over your data-cap.

That feature bites, I dont have a data-cap limit. Alot of times I do not have a WI-FI connection available. I wanted to show this video to some of the folks in my office and will not do so when it looks like crap.
Thanks for the reply!

I know there are ways to download YouTube videos to your phone. I think I read it earlier in this thread, so maybe you can download the video and then show it to your colleagues?
