Howdy - I'm a former 'blackberry tour' victim (really it was a defective phone that never should've been released), now I'm giving the Dinc2 a try, liking it thus far, although actually using a phone during the day and thus having to manage battery life, is proving a bit of a challenge...

Probably not going to try this 'rooting' thing for a while until I get the repercussions of tweaking a $500 device a bit more digested, but still pondering it given HTC's belated embrace of open stuff going forward...

Hi and welcome to AC and to Android. It's a good idea to hold off on rooting until you get the feel for Android and your device, and the Dinc2 doesn't have permanent root yet anyways.
