Hey all,
I'm finally jumping on board with the Androis OS. Actually with smart phones in general, as I've yet to have one. My current phone is an LG Voyager (Verizon) and while it has served me relatively well, I'm ready to step up to the next level.
I was always interested in getting an Iphone but never willing to switch to AT&T. I almost got a Motorola Droid during Black Friday last year but I ended up opting out of that decision because of money at the time (I had just closed on a new house so needless to say I'd felt like I had already spent enough money for the time being lol).
But now, with me hitting my NE2 I've finally dove in head first. I ordered a Droid last Thursday and it should be here in the mail tomorrow! I'm anxious to get it in my hands and start fiddling with different apps and perhaps some rooting as well. Although to be honest, there's a good chance I may return it if the Nexus One or Incredible come out within the next 30 days.
I'm rather unfamiliar with Android in general so I may start to ask a lot of questions around here, but for the time being I just wanted to introduce myself to the community and start getting my feet wet on the forums.
