Hello fellow Android friends,

Name's Chris, 22, from Winnipeg, Canada.

I have been a long time Android fan.

I currently use the Nexus One unlocked on Fido's GSM/UMTS network. I was an early adopter, and ordered the device 30 minutes after Google officially announced that they were shipping a device to Canada that compatible with Canadian 3G networks. So it's been about 10 months and I love it.

I plan on upgrading to the Atrix 4G when it comes out, but I may be a little bit patient to see what comes out at MWC and CTIA. In a perfect world, I'd want the form factor of the Xperia Arc with the internal specs of the Atrix while running pure Android. But perhaps that a little bit of wishful thinking.

Anyways... nice to "meet" all of you... and hope to chat some more.

Outside of Android, I'm a student, studying accounting. I've been a musician for 12 years (guitarist since I was about 10 and a songwriter/vocalist for the past 5 years) and I'm in the process of recording my first record. I have an interest in entertainment news (from celebrity culture to musicians to movies) and basically anything interesting that can be found on the internet....

Always interested in connecting with other Android users, so find me on Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr.

Cheers,
Chris

It is. I never meant to say that it was locked and I got mine unlocked, just reiterating the concept that I was using an unlocked device as opposed to being tied down, which I realize for the N1 is unnecessary.
