Just joined the other day because I'm seriously considering giving up on HPalm webOS. They seem to be heading in the wrong direction. Especially by only re-releasing the same phone with a little better hardware every now and then (but on different networks). With the news of my Pre being obsolete to the newer version of the OS, it's made me start considering my choices, stay with a company that will leave you high and dry while you wait for their empty promises to be completed or switch to a well supported OS that though there seem to be hundreds of different phones, most manufacturers attempt to get the latest version on their most of their hardware.

My dilema with android is whether to also switch to at&t for the atrix. or stick with sprint and pay an extra $10 a month/phone for their smartphone tax. for that price I could just go to at&t. Then there's the issue with the atrix having motoblur. Motoblur seems too busy perhaps it was just the phone that I tried it on since it was a smaller screen. I really liked HTC sense on the Inspire it seemed to flow a lot better.

When testing out the android phones I found myself going nowhere fast cuz I'm so used to webOS's gestures. Android really needs to adopt this method of multitasking.

There seems to be alot of info on this site to help me make my decision, my contract ends in Jully so I'll get to wait to see what newer phones come out by then.

Welcome to AC and the Android army. I was once a Pre owner nine months ago and left on Evo launch day...this where I will stay. I like the hardware, the Google apps and the ecosystem. You have few months before you should even consider a phone because they come out so often. Well good luck with whatever you decide to do.
