gROM battery/charging issue

One of the reasons I decided to root and rom is that the sprint 2.3 ota completely screwed up my phones ability to charge.

In order for it to charge, I have to plug it in, then power off. Once power is off, it recognizes the power source and turns back on automatically.

I was hoping that the root and rom would solve this, but no go. Still no charging indicator, ever.

Any idea how to get my phone to start charging correctly again? Rooted three days ago using the one-click method and installed the latest gROM. Everything is updated and ready to go.

Please help!

Its a zvh bug that effect some. Try flashing drews ginger kernal helped some people. If that doesn't work there are several threads on how to downgrade to zvd easily

Drew's Ginger kernel V 8 seems to have fixed a lot of the ZVH bugs including the double tap issue. I say give that a try.
