Group message "service not activated on network"

I have a Nexus 6P and recently my phone won't allow me to send messages in a group text anymore. I'm on AT&T network. I've never had an issue before and all of a sudden it won't let me send group texts. I have my APN setting on NextGenPhone but still nothing. Any ideas?

I had the same thing some time ago, but can't really remember what I did. Maybe remove the sim and re-install.

I'm getting the same message on my 6P. I'm on AT&T as well. I don't know what's the reason. Have you solved your issue?

Have you tried contacting AT&T? Since the common thread between you and the OP is the carrier perhaps they need to reset something on their end.

FWIW this works fine on Fi and Verizon.
