Group messages received individually

New here!

Recently purchased the Lenovo Zuk Z2 & noticed when I'm in a group text I receive every message individually in MMS format. There's a setting that is supposed to group my messages but even after switching it on & rebooting the phone it still doesn't perform. Any help? Tia

That setting should have fixed the problem. So that leads me to believe it's possibly a problem with the stock messaging app shipped with the phone. I'm not sure if it's Lenovo's own, or the stop Android messaging app. What I would suggest is going into system settings > applications > sort by all > messaging > clear cache. See if that helps.
