Group Messages to Android and Iphone Recipients

When I send a text to two of my friends, one has an Android and one has an Iphone. My friend with the Iphone cannot reply. His text fails to send. However, he can send a text just to me with no problem. We used to have no problems until a few weeks ago. Perhaps an update caused tge issue. Any help is most appreciated.

Does your phone accept RCS messages? iPhones now default to RCS. If your phone cant accept RCS, your friend's messages will fail to send. He needs to manually toggle off RCS in his Messages settings.

Yes my phone receives RMS messages.
