So I just got the Galaxy S4 and before this i had an iphone and would always group text with a few different groups. One group was an imessage group and the other was not. Well now that i got this phone, I can group message with my non imessage group but my imessage one i do not receive any texts from them! Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this?! Thanks!

You can group message with handcent or go sms. You need to go into the settings of the app and select group messaging though. Nothing is the same as I message but there are so many more pros that out weigh that

hmm sorry then, that's what I did for my iphone and it seemed to work. It also took about a day to correct itself.

Are you getting messages from people with imessage at all? If you didn't deregister your number before you switched, you'll never get any messages from them if you don't find a way to do it.

There seems to be a problem on the S4 when iphone users respond to a group thread when they have iMessage on. A lot times I get messages that are blank and that are from "Unknown Sender." I assume that those are the messages in the group thread being sent from iPhone users with iMessage on.

I think all i did was turn on imessage on my iphone 5 when i first got it to use iMessage. Am I to understand before that i turn in my iphone 5 for a SG4 just turning off imessage on the iphone 5 is not enough to signal other iphone users I'm not imessage active anymore. If thats the case just another reason why I'm glad to move to android and see what its all about.

I did the whole deregister as well... It only happens (for me anyway) with group message... On my husband and daughters iPhone, it still shows that I have iPhone as well... So far other than the fact that I missed a very important group message - I am LOVING my Galaxy S4!!!
