Group or Mass Text Messages

Hello

S8+ user here. For some reason I cannot to save my life figure out group/mass text messages on my phone. The issues I'm having and need help with are:

1. Sending the same text to multiple people WITHOUT creating a group thread. That is, sending a message to John, Joe, and Jane, and when they receive it, they don't know that I've sent it to the other two.

2. Sending the same text to multiple people and creating a group thread. For someone reason, if I send a message to a group, when I go back to my texts, it shows that I sent the message separately, but when someone replies, all other recipients get it too. Essentially, it's not creating a separate text thread/conversation for the group only.

3. When someone texts me and includes me in a group, it usually falls under their conversation thread, but I can tell it's a group message because it reads "MMS", or I receive a text message from someone random about the same topic because the sender included them in the group, but it comes in, again, in a separate conversation thread.
