Group text issue

So I'm having trouble with group text conversations. I can send to multiple users, but their responses come in singlely. I do have group chat enabled in settings. I've also downloaded Go SMS Pro and Handscent, neither work either.

I'm coming from an iPhone, and I disabled iMessaging before I enabled this phone. I didn't turn off the other settings for group messaging because I thought they were irrelevant. I went in and did it, the phone is still connected to WiFi so I'm hoping if that was the reason it fixed it. Anyone else having this problem, or can offer a solution?
