Group text, Textra, marshmallow and VZW

Did anyone else have an issue with group messaging tonight? I had an issue when I first discarded marshmallow but I went from legacy to system and all was good for over a week. Tonight I missed so many messages, it didn't even work when I switched back to stock messages. TIA

Not marshmallow but nougat. Can a mod fix that because I can't?

Sounds like that is a common problem since the nougat update with Verizon.

One fix that seems to work is by changing the MMS settings in Textra itself.
In the MMS settings, Enable (check) Activate Mobile Data.

A lot of posts around the interweb have reported decent success with that option.

Thanks I deleted Textra. I was in the middle of a work crisis and was missing messages. I need something more reliable right now.
