Group Texting Problem

I have a rooted Galaxy S4 running CleanROM 1.5 R2. With the stock message app and Go SMS Pro I can send group messages but can't receive them. I've made sure in the stock app settings Auto-retrieve is checked and in Go SMS Pro MMS Group Chat is checked. Still, nothing comes through, not even as individual messages. Any idea how I can get this jump started and working properly?

Did this work before in the stock ROM? If so, I'd look for a different ROM.

1. Did you used to have an iPhone?
2. Are the people sending you texts sending from iPhones?

If the above are true, then chances are it is because you didn't un-register your phone number or device from your iTunes account and disable iMessage, and folks with iTunes are still trying to send messages to you via iMessage (rather than SMS/MMS). There are several other threads on this forum regarding this issue. Having never owned an iPhone, I can't help too much with explaining *how* to fix it, but the information is out there...I'd search around here and on Google.

Yes, but I unregistered it through Apple's website. Saw that as a recommendation and tried.

Yep. Looks like I'll have to keep Googling. Not sure why it's not working like it's suppose to, but it is mildly annoying.

Im experiencing the same problem. I just purchased an s4 and used to have an iphone. My friends with iphones receive my group text but I do not receive there responses. Any idea how to fix this problem?

From what I'm reading here you also need to remove your phone from icloud/itunes/apple id
