my GS3 says Please notice your phone battery is overheated how can i stop this.

what temp is it? hottest mine ever gets is 45?c.
switch it off once you tell us the temp lol.
ive never had that message even on heavily overclocked androids... maybe its just tellin u how sexy it is
are you using stock battery/charger?
are you tethering?

if you have to ask what overclocking means, i guess that means you're not overclocked

when the GS3 is struggling to access data, it can get pretty warm if you are in a poor data connection area. if that's the problem you're having, i suggest you switch off data connection, sync, gps and wifi to allow the phone cool off

download an app or widget that tells you battery temp and let us know.
overclocking is hacking the phone so the CPU runs faster giving better performance but it gets hot.
id ring samsung mate because ive downloaded a movie while plugged in and playing a game and never had that message
