GS3 Release Date in US by AT&T

That articles seems like it was put together reading forums. It looks like samsung is controlling the show here. If they announced that the Canada will be receiving it on the 27th on their twitter and regardless of the carrier, I doubt they will be hesitant to do the same in the U.S. I Believe U.S is taking priority over Canada and Samsung probably wants to get as many of these bad boys in the U.S market before they have to deal with Job's mob again.

I'm virtually certain the Phone Scoop article is wrong. Samsung wants a big first day. They want people lined up before the stores open. This is their flagship phone, they want excitement.

That's why they are being so coy about the release date, they love the fact that we are all spending our weekend on here speculating about it! The anticipation is boiling over. That is all done on purpose, it is meticulous marketing.

I just don't see Samsung releasing the phone tomorrow without anyone knowing about it. It would go against everything they worked so hard to build.

Haha! I really didn't mean to be negative, I have been trying to tell you for 2 weeks now that the phone will be out mid next week. My story hasn't wavered at all.

As I've said before, I hope you are right, I hope you get your phone early. But I'm still going to call it as I see it, and that means mid next week. I'm waiting just like you are

Totally agree. I did however discount the posted stories as not having the most credibility. The people that do know are the store reps. The fact that they are more tight-lipped than ever means something is about to break soon. Hopefully, after Thursday, our waits will be over.

I have mine pre-ordered at Best Buy, so I'm wondering when they're gonna get it. Hopefully the same time as AT&T stores. At this point, we're so close, by the time we have our phones in our hands the few days wait will be trivial. That being said, if they don't have it by the 21st I'm taking to the streets with a torch and machete.
