Gs5 will connect to 3G right?

Ok sounds like a stupid question.

When looking at specs I saw gs5 listed as 4g lte, where the gs4 was listed as 4g,3g,Hspa+ ...

Just want to make sure the GS5 can connect to everything the GS4 can as far as cell networks go. I'm on verizon in north east usa

My Verizon S5 connects to 3G when 4G isn't available.
