I haven't tried factory resetting yet. That readout was about 5 days in. Things are getting better, but the screen on time is still pretty weak.

Same here only get 3-4 hours of screen time but maybe because of my signal only get one bar

Basically you charge the phone for at least 10 mins then power it down and hold the power button and the volume buttons down for 2 mins. The phone will kind of keep power cycling. After 2 minutes let go and turn the phone on then charge it to 100%

You do this with the cord plugged in to the phone the whole time?

I have done pretty well making sure nothing unnecessary is running in the background with Greenify but my Gsam readout is still being "held awake" quite a bit.

I use Spotify quite a bit. Will this cause it to be held awake according to Gsam even when screen is off and in the pocket?

I think there's something nobody pointed out. It seems that some of you have the Google Play Edition while others have the HTC Blinkfeed edition. I think that plays a lot regarding battery life time. I've made a few tests, and have had 2 Htc One M8 cause my first one had a screen issue, the screen was not well attached to it, when you pushed on the screen, the screen would go brighter. Well with the test i've made, and i'll take the time to tell you what are my tweaks in another post, i've been able to get on Android Revolution HD rom, 1 day 22 hours and 6h 20 minutes of Screen on. I also use ElementalX kernel with basic settings.

I am on Verizon and get about 12 hours or so depending on use. I am not seeing anything like others are.

You guys are getting great battery life. Most i get is 5 hours on screen time. Usually averaging15 hours usage to zero batt

For you guys getting great batt life i have questions

1 are you using power saver mode?
2 is your data on the whole time or do you toggle it on and off
3 screen brightness settings?
