Or one of the last. They're released in batches. Unless you're really a high government official and aren't telling us, there's no reason yours should be higher on the list than anyone else's. It's up to your carrier.

The GSM unlocked version (with T-Mobile SIM) doesn't rely on T-Mobile to give the go/no-go on updates.

I think only the 2014 Moto X Pure Edition (second gen) was advertised as getting updates first.
