I got the update yesterday, but I was already using the beta, so I haven't noticed anything different. I didn't experience any bugs with the beta. I don't use Dex.

the traditional way works just fine.

• power phone off
• hold power button and volume up simultaneously
• release power button when you see the Samsung splash screen
• release the volume up button when you see the recovery menu

The traditional way worked for me. I didn't think there was any other way to do it.

Exynos models need a USB cable plugged into the port on the phone and the other end in a PC for the Vol up + Lock button press to work.

You don't need to do anything on the PC, it just has to be plugged in for some reason.

Snapdragon models don't need that.
