Does any body know if Motorola gonna release a GSM version of the Droid X (like the MileStone version of the original Droid)
If there is a GSM version coming soon does any body know when ? Because I've a dead line for changing my phone
& what kind of SiM cards gonna use ? Traditional or Micro-SIM ?
I'm about to change my phone very soon & the Droid X is my first choice & MileStone is my second
currenttly the MileStone & The Aura are the only Motorola phones available in Saudi Arabia & they are really really hard to find
Thanks

I doubt it. Correct me if I'm wrong but true "droid" phones were a collaboration between motorola and verizon. That being the case, you'll not see a GSM version.

Although that's true Motorola has taken the effort to put out a GSM version of phones that are supposed to be "exclusively" on Verizon

Namely the Motorola Milestone and the Motorola XT701. Both are available for purchase on Amazon.

With hat being said I'm almost positive that the Droid X will have a GSM variant within the year.

"Phil Nickinson: This is a U.S.-only device. We may have a device that looks similiar outside the U.S. at some point."
