GT-19500 Flashing welcome/Icon screen

Hi Guys,

I've been reading through some of the advice threads but I'm really stuck. Hope someone has some ideas for me

At present the welcome/logo screen is flashing on my phone. I have tried to both hard reset and factory reset - neither has worked and the phone keeps on flashing.

I've tried hooking the phone up to my Imac but device is not being picked up by either Kies or Android File Transfer.

I'd be able to live with a hard reset since all my photos and vids automatically update to Dropbox - but its not even letting me do that!

Any advice gratefully received.

Well I finally got to the point where I could access the menu with the factory reset option. But it appears that the power button is not allowing me to select the option. Not sure where to go from here. Any thoughts?

Have you tried removing the battery for 10 minutes and then reboot?
