Howdy lads, first time poster long time lurker.
I recently got my hands on the above mentioned Tablet. I'm trying to see if it's worth to fix up or if it's for the bin. Basically it won't turn on
After you plug it in the ''battery wait'' symbol appears for 2 seconds and then the battery charging symbol appears for half a second before disappearing and that's it. Nothing else. I can't figure out if it's the battery or if it's something far far worse.
Here's what I've tried:
1. Kept it plugged in to charge the battery on both the PC usb hub and the mains with the AC plug
2. Tried a separate cable to see if it was the cables fault.
3. Tried holding down the power button, pressing on the screen etc.
4. When connected to the PC it makes the BING BONG...BONG BING sound of something being connected and disconnected extremely fast. It says that it's gonna install some driver or other but it immediatly stops because it thinks it's being disconnected.
