gtalk and other IM providers

ok i was wondering if google talk supports other IM providers? idk if this is clear enough to understand but most off my friends and relatives use either msn or yahoo messenger. i tried sendingthem an invite via gtalk on my n1, and they can only chat with me unless they have a gtalk account or a google account.

is there a way i can chat with them without them having to switch over to gtalk or google? only because most of their friends and families as well are using either msn or yahoo messenger.

Grab yourself one of the free multi client IM apps in the market. Meebo is the one I use. Does MSN, Yahoo and all the other major ones.

Meebo is a great app and I have used it myself with zero problems.

Gtalk on the regular website also supports aim. But unfortunately they did not enable this in the phone version.

Use Nimbuzz or Fring or Ebuddy or Meebo.
