Anybody know of a SIM unlock service that will *guaranteed* unlock a Rogers Moto X? Willing to pay up to $10 but cheaper is better

Cellunlocker.net does it for $8. They have unlocked 2 Rogers & 2 AT&T Moto X's for me so far. They are pretty quick too and have taken less than a couple of hours each.

When you unlock an Android phone, do you have to do anything else to make sure it works properly? Any other settings that need to change?

You need to ensure that the APN is correct for your provider. Other than that, I don't think you need to change any other settings.

Have you called Rogers? I know that AT&T will sim unlock your phone as long as the phone is paid in full and some other minor criteria, no charge.
