Guidance on G950US

I purchased a mint condition S8 that is model G950US which is unlocked and works great on AT&T. However, it has the Verizon bloatware on it.

He said it was purchased from Best Buy. It's the coral blue.

I'd like to get rid of that Verizon bloatware. I've done some research and believe I can flash a unlocked US firmware on it to remove the bloatware. Just getting a little confused on the fireste version to use.

Anyway, am I on the right path?

Follow the directions in the first post exactly as they are posted.

You can also flash the At&t firmware to get the At&t extras like wifi calling. That requires carrier switching. I haven't messed with that.

I've been running the unlocked software on a T-Mobile phone for quite a while and love it.

I flashed my sprint S8 and got rid of all their bloat and any traces of sprint branding but however I'm having issues unlocking it. They told me it's unlocked but when I put another sim in it, it still says invalid sim and I also loose my APN settings option. Anyone have any ideas of how I can get around this by chance?
