My Verizon Note 4 arrives tomorrow, so my Nexus 4 (on Straight Talk) is getting retired.

Is there guide to transferring everything across carriers?
Friend already warned me about disabling all my 2-factor apps.
What about contacts, calendar, dozens of saved wifi passwords, etc?

Yeah, I know about the reset on the Nexus when I retire it.
Wondering if there is an easy way to move everything to the Note4.

Google contacts are on Google Contacts - any phone with that google email address as its Google Account syncs to those contacts. The Google calendar will also sync (if you have it set to sync in your Google Account on both phones).

Passwords should be saved in a password app - copy its data file to the new phone. (I keep mine in the cloud and link all my devices - phones, laptops, desktops - to that file.) Un;ess you've saved the wifi connection passwords in a password file, no. I don't think you can transfer wifi connections. (They're probably saved in a database, but I have no idea which one, and whether the encoding in one phone would decode in another one. I sure hope they're not saved in plain text.)
