I put the SD card in the NC and waited for it to boot up like normal from being turned off. It booted up with the normal 'Read Forever' and is now stuck on the screen with the 'n' and 'Contains Reader Mobile technology by Adobe Systems Incorporated' at the bottom. Won't go any further than this WITH or WITHOUT the SD card in it. Help?

Without telling us how you created the SD card, what is on it and what you did up until that point it is impossible to offer any help.

Help please!!! I rooted my NC and it worked perfectly, but when I download from the play store (for example Netflix) and move it to the sd card, it won't open. Then I try to move it back and it says there is not enough space. Many of the apps won't even let me move them to the sd card. I really don't want to have to restore to factory defaults and re-root, but I will if I can't get help here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Try an app to SD app. I use link2sd but there are others. It will help you to move and/or install apps to sd card. Good Luck!

Hi, I have an old nook color (1.4.3) lying around and I would love to turn it into android 4.0 or above by rooting it. I read through the steps, and tried to burn the downloaded img to my microSD card(which is a class10 sandisk, 16GB). When I run win32diskimage.exe(I'm running windows7) using administrator, and find in the unzipped folder a file name "ramdisk.img" and choose my output drive as "F"which is where my microSD card at, then click "write", the writing was done well under 1 second. That can't be right! Although this class10 card is supposed to be fast, the whole android system is a few hundred MB at least. That should take at least 30 seconds, right? It can't be instant. What am I doing wrong here? Could someone please help me ? Thanks!

I am having trouble finding any updated threads on rooting the nook color with 1.4.3. and I cant get Win32DiskImager to work... HELP!
