Hi,

I'm confused about something. I realize I am new, I did read what I could read, but I am still puzzled so I thought I would ask. I rooted my phone, the phone broke (nothing related to the rooting), so it is under warranty so I had to flash it back to stock for warranty. I ran the program that removed the triangle, ran the program to flash back to stock, however when I boot I can see where 1 custom mod was installed. Should this be zero and if so, what am I doing wrong? I did check and the remove triangle program said it was at zero, but when I flashed, I am back to 1 mod installed.

3. Plug your usb cord to your phone and computer and wait until you see any number and com in the com box

i do not get a number and com in the com box what can i do?

Thanks. I was stuck after a failed update with the phone wanting me to connect to Kies recovery mode (which never works because Kies never recognizes my GS3). This was the only thing that worked. And I lost no personal data in the process. Perfect.

This walk through saved my life. I thought I was going to have to throw my phone at a wall. Thank you so much! a 4 hour download but well worth the wait! didnt lose any data and everything is back to normal

I need to send my phone in to Samsung to be fixed (vibrator stopped functioning for some reason). I'm rooted and on a custom ROM, so will this method erase all traces of root? I know if Samsung finds out I rooted, my warranty is toast. Does this reset the flash counter and everything to make it seem like I never rooted or unlocked at all (will my warranty still be valid with this method)?

Like an ***** I soft bricked my GS3 after flashing Liquid Smooth 2.1, then installing gapps failed. Tried to restore my cwm backup, said it was successful, but wouldn't boot. That is twice now that a cwm backup restore jacked up my phone. Lame!

To get into download mode press volume DOWN, power and home simultaneously until you see a warning. Then release all and press volume up. It will show your flash counts in the upper left portion of your screen.

Hi, New to the forum. Tried to root SG3 and now is completely off. All I get is battery screen and from time to time Samsung. I did what you suggested but never passed the battery or the Samsung. All is black screen and I have a new battery charged in.
Can you help me to bring it back to normal?

Hello, I am new to the forum. I bought an AT&T SG3 from someone and it was rooted when I got it. I want to unroot it and go back to stock. I've tried everything listed in the instructions but get a message that the md5 file is broken or I am not able to bring it up in Odin. It appears as just a "plain sheet" when saved to my desktop. Is it possible that it's a bad file? I would appreciate any help with this.

i unrooted mt phone a while age and then upgrade to android 4.3. if i reroot and do this unroot again is possible to get back to 4.1 or wherever i was? thank you.

I got a new Galaxy Note 3 from AT&T but I want to remove CM11, unroot my phone and restore my Galaxy S3 to the Samsung software before I sell it on one of those websites that buy your used phone. I'm having a really hard time trying to do this thru Odin. It fails every time. Does CM11 have a new bootloader which I must get rid off to pull this off? Anybody got any ideas?

Any help provided will be much appreciated!!!

How about if you're rooted and running CM11 (4.4.2)? This procedures does not seem to work if the phone is in CM11. Anything else I have to do/check/prepare before I use Odin?

So im not able to use my phone what so ever antell i figure out how to get my sims puk coade to unlock my sim card. So if any won can help me out. I would really appresiate it. I cant get it unlocked for anything.
