Anyone have an issue with the audio sync when playing video???

The audio is always about 30 sec ahead of video when streaming....

Used this same method and installed hulu plus. audio and video look and work great when streaming

Yes. As I previously stated, in my signature is the solution...

Are you sure u did it correctly? I still have it working on my Optimus...

I have a Vortex and I think I have to downgrade the firmware to get access to modify contents of the root directory. I am not sure if rooting is worth loosing my phone settings. It is funny how I searched for Vortex and Netflix, but I got directed to Optimus. I can keep an eye on the root file manager and see if it will support the Vortex in a future version.

anyone have the original build props???
Don't need those as of now. There are a couple of ways to fix the build.prop. However, use the file listed below...
Hey there, not sure about this, but apparently Netflix has been updated with support for all 2.2 and 2.3 devices.

Netflix for Android Updated With Full 2.2 and 2.3 Support ? iFans

Heres the AC Post:

Netflix now available for all devices running Android 2.2 and 2.3 | Android Central

Cheers!
The newer Netflix apparently still has issues on the optimus. Use this link: http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg...s-hacks/110604-fix-netflix-syncing-issue.html

lol I just downloaded netflix last night. It works beautifully thus far. And it's the actual official netflix app with nothing special done. Just downloaded it from the marketplace. :3

It works but vortex has the syncing issue to.

I have an Archos 5 internet tablet. I can't check the root options... I don't think my device is rooted. How would I get to the build.prop without that?

Or... I have access to the OS for windows mobile... if I were to change my android to windows, would I be able to access netflix? Or would it even be possible to change my android to windows?

(I recover data for a living from windows... so don't be afraid to get technical on me... I'm just not very familiar with android.)

Thanks in advance! :)

Edit:
I just did some research and found that I have to root the device myself. I had thought that it was a feature that came on the device. I am leaving this comment, in case someone has the same problem I had. Thanks!

The post above yours has a fix for you if you are unable to root.

Sorry to bump an old thread...but is it just me or is the quality of the video for netflix pretty low...?
