Hacked n Tapped

Hello AC! This is my first time posting on the forum. Please help....I have a family member who has tapped my Samsung Galaxy S3 by simply using my ph#. The authorities say call provider...provider says nothing they can do & that I need to call the authorities.UGGHHH!! My calls are being recorded and my texts are being read and/or intercepted. This much I know. However I also think he may have access to my screen and keystrokes (ie...MY PASSWORDS!) How-to advice would be greatly appreciated.

Factory reset your phone, and get a new SIM card. I've never heard of something like this before....so I'm guessing. Maybe confront the family member.....?

I agree. In the future make use of that lockscreen/pin password option to protect yourself.

Just out of curiosity, how do you know they are being recorded/read? Did this person tell you that they are doing it, or, do you have some evidence that they are doing it. It'd be far easier to just tell someone that you are doing that then to actually do it.

I heard them myself accidentally. I went to the bathroom and could hear my voice having a conversation with a friend that took place the day before. The relatives bedroom is opposite the bathroom wall. It's quite disturbing and it seems the factory reset and a # change is the only solution.
