I'm not a programmer so I will not be able to contribute to that part of this discussion. I am though a big reader of security, techie tricks and other geeky stuff.

It depends on what the topic actually IS. When you say "hacking a cdma, 3g network" do you mean tapping into their services without being a paying customer or do you mean intercepting user data?

Not saying that it's happened but I would be cool with sharing with someone how to accesss a service that they are not a member of in a pinch (especially an emergency) and if they choose to use that information to be a cheap bastard and hope to not be caught for extended theft of service that's their problem.

But if this thread is about being able to intercept data by users (whether targeted or random) I'm definitely not interested.
