Had moto e for couple weeks now and have couple problems

Had moto x for couple weeks now and have a few questions or problems. First the question I have a Bluetooth headset I use when bike riding. I want to be able to push the talk button and access the voice commands (call/text/ect). Is there anyway to do this. Right now I push the talk and nothing happens. The other problem I have is when I connect it to my laptop to put music on it my computer doesn't recognize it. Any help would be great.

Welcome back! Moto E or Moto X? You mentioned both.

Open Google Now, swipe in from the left, tap Settings>Voice, and turn the Bluetooth Headset switch on. Does that help?

When you connect the phone to your computer via USB, do you see a USB connection notification in the status bar? If so, swipe down and tap it--make sure MTP is selected.
