Had Nexus 5, need phone same phone but just as good

Hey guys,
Ive had my Nexus 5 for a while now but unfortunately it doesn't want to work anymore. Im finding it hard to find a similar size phone that is just as awesome, can anyone recommend some phones I should consider?

I dont need a huge phone (why are they so bloody big these days). Dont need anything fancy on it.

Would appreciate any recommendations, thanks.

Yes I had but the size was a bit off putting. At this point im really considering it.

I still have the Nex5. The size might take a little adjusting to, but it's not bad.
