Had the phone for the day - a few issues

These are a few things I'd like to change and hoping someone knows how:

When the phone is connected to my car via bluetooth, it makes a loud notification noise every time a call begins and ends. I have no idea what the purpose is and it's annoying since I know the call is going through when I hear the ringing haha.

Is there a way to turn off the loud jingle the phone plays when the phone is turned on, shut off, or restarted?

Something I liked with my old phone (and I guess Honeycomb) was when I'd create a new SMS and would input a contact, it would automatically move the text to the message itself. With this phone, it keeps the text in the contact selector but I typically only send messages to one contact so it's annoying having to manually move it to the message portion. Just have to get used to it or can it be changed?

Also with my last phone, when I would receive a picture in a text message, I would be able to open it with a tap so I could see a bigger version. It seems with this phone I have to download the picture and open it in the gallery before that's possible or am I missing something? When I tap or double tap on the pic in the message it does nothing.

Is there anyway to download more notification noises? I'd like more options for what I'm going to hear.

Thanks a lot guys.

Play around with the settings and the in-call settings. Get to know your phone. All of your issues are pretty simple. That's the fun part of getting a new phone. You can do it, I know you can

And for the "notification noises", there's some ring tone apps in the market that will allow you to take a some a crop part of it to be used as a ring tone. Enjoy your new machine

Thanks. I actually spent too many hours the first day going through the manual and couldn't find answers to my questions which is why I came here.

Another thing I noticed is sometimes I can't go into landscape mode with the keyboard when sending a text.

Go into the phone section then hit the menu button and choose Call Settings. Unless I'm mistaken you want the Call Alert setting, go into that then into Call Status tones and turn off the call connect tone and the call end tone, I turn them all off. Also make sure Call vibrations are off. If that doesn't do it report back and we'll go from there.

Not sure if there's a way to turn off the startup sound or change it... I'd like to know that too.
