Half of screen fried

Suddenly, half of my screen is displaying a black and white checkerboard pattern. The left side. Did all the standard stuff, thinking of a master reset but can't see the menu when I boot into the startup window you use when you clear cache partition. Suggestions before going to Best Buy? Still under a year warranty. Thanks.

Get it replaced under warranty that's a screen issue

Problem fixed! The motherboard needed to be replaced. Just under the 1 year warranty expiration. Lucky me.
