Hancom office font directory

I accidently changed the default font directory and can not open any files, since it can't find the fonts. I have tried modifying the UFINFO file in /storage/emulated/0/.HNC but have not been able to reset it to whatever the default should be. Email to Hancom received a "we'll be back to you response" in Korean, so I'm not hopeful. Any suggestions on how to correct this?

Font directory is /storage/emulated/0 /.Hnc/HOffice9/Shared/Fonts

To add additional user fonts, create a new folder, put the fonts in them then open a new document, select the files tab and select options. You will see the option to select the folder with the additional fonts you created.

that's the path that I have put back into UFinfo and I still get the Font initialized fail message when I use viewer, or no error message, but no open file, if I use hcell editor. Is there some other flag that needs to be reset?

As a matter of interest, why does Hancom install every time I open it?

Good question. Every time I open Hancom word it wants to download fonts.
This is why I dumped that pile of garbage. The last thing I want while trying to open an email attachment during a meeting away from the office is to fail to be able to due to a lack of fonts or stupid update. It's critical to me for things to just work when it comes to business communication, critical enough that I'm paying the Office 365 ransom/subscription fee. Hancom is great and all but some quirky stuff like this really turns some of us away.

At this point I would just uninstall and reinstall the app.

Yep, they do update their font pack frequently. Probably better if they only updated it whenever the user manually checked for updates. This would be a good request to send to Hancom.

uninstall and reinstall is what Hancom suggested, too.
that did fix it.
Interesting that the /storage/emulated/0/.Hnc directory that used to
contain the UFinfo file, as well as several other UFxxxx files, now only
contains the versioninfo file.
I would suggest that users do not change the default font diretory
under the options tab.
As an aside, I tried the Office Suite from Mobisystems.
Total disaster. Do not waste your time unless you are creating excel
files with only about 10 rows. It took a 2mB file and blew it up to 5 mB
and completely fouled up a bunch of functions, probably from the
latency involved in copying and pasting.
Now to try and get a refund from Amazon...

Thanks for the help.

Hello i am new user and i´m also get a font fail error , this is the REAL SOLUTION

(Only ROOT?)

1.Using a File Explorer, and enable hidden folder, delete the ".hnc" folder.
2. Uninstall all Hancom apps (bloat apps, can downgrade to factory version)
3. Reinstall all Hancom apps (Galaxy Apps)

and solved. unfortunately, you can reconnect your cloud accounts to continue to edit docs.

P.S: i´m using a Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 Pro with Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
