Handcent next sms

I wasnt sure where to put this, so feel free to move it.

I noticed the newest handcent taking up quite a bit more battery.

i decided to have a look in disable services, and the services there are just lettered, but theres a service called "b" that runs constantly. I decided to disable it to see what would happen....

well, nothing happened. all is still working just fine. i can still browse themes and skins, look at all my messages, i still get notifications, it still remembers my custom sounds...

i did go in and change in handcent itself though from running all the time, to only running in the background (i forget what its called, something fairly new they put in... but i like mine actually closing when i close it.). so im not sure if that "b" thing has to do with that or not.... but for how i use it, that was sucking up battery for no reason at all.

just wanted to share in case any other rooted users were finding it a bigger battery hog since updating.
